7th grade science and ELA teacher, Ascension Catholic School

Catholic School is dedicated to the development of academic excellence within the structure of a disciplined and Christian-oriented environment.  We currently have an opening for a 7th grade science and ELA teacher who will use their gifts to teach and inspire our scholars. Job responsibilities include:

•  Plan, design, and implement high-impact instruction
• Provide feedback to scholars through the use of formative and summative assessments
• Target instruction to meet the learning needs of all scholars
• Communicate effectively to staff and parents
• Maintain a classroom culture as a place where learning is valued by all

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
• Current Minnesota Teaching License
• Technology skills related to Chromebooks, education software and interactive whiteboards
• Experience delivering content through a blended learning model helpful

School Secretary, St. John Paul II Catholic School

We currently have an opening for a School Secretary who will use their gifts to teach and inspire our scholars. Job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the efficient functioning of the school office
• Facilitate school communications
• Implement appropriate financial controls
• Manage and update the school’s Student Information System
• Organize and support the recruiting, admission, and registration processes
• Assist in the health and safety procedures of the school
• Build positive relationships with staff, parents, volunteers, and visitors
• Support school initiatives as part of the school administrative team and as directed by the school principal

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Administration, Business, Communications, or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years administrative experience
• Ability to communicate effectively using both English and Spanish
• Proficient in administrative technology including but not limited to Microsoft Office, database and administrative software programs, and web-based calendars and communication tools.
• Friendly, helpful, and mission driven while serving as the first encounter with our school community
• Work effectively and collegially as part of the school’s administrative team

Ascension School Technology Education Teacher

Ascension Catholic School is dedicated to the development of academic excellence within the structure of a disciplined and Christian-oriented environment. We currently have an opening for a Technology Education teacher who will use their gifts to teach and inspire our scholars. Job responsibilities include:
– Plan, design, and implement high-impact instruction for K-8 students
– Provide feedback to scholars through the use of formative and summative assessments
– Target instruction to meet the learning needs of all scholars
– Communicate effectively to staff and parents
– Maintain a classroom culture as a place where learning is valued by all
– May serve as the technology resource to assist staff with day-to-day technology issues

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Education, technology or related field
– Current Minnesota Teaching License preferred but not required
– Knowledge of curriculum and techniques for integrating technology
– Knowledge and experience with STEM
– Technology skills related to Chromebooks, education software and interactive whiteboards
