Ascension Catholic Academy sees all people as beloved children of God, deserving of a rigorous faith-based education and the opportunities an education provides. We set tuition low, well below our cost of providing this education, and ask families to put in volunteer time and pay an agreed upon amount. Donors and grants cover the majority of our cost.

We serve the whole child by working to remove barriers to a scholar’s success. We work with the City Connects program to provide resources for families who are dealing with homelessness, unemployment, incarceration and other crises that disrupt learning.

The Academy also focuses on social-emotional learning through the Top20 Schools program. This program reinforces positive mental habits such as gratitude, persistence and curiosity and works to eliminate worry, complaining and boredom.
